Dallas based Airport Foodservice Management Company and Multi-Concept Franchise Operator rolls out InSTORE back office software solutions to 55 locations

Atlanta, GA (November 12, 2002) – InSTORE Systems, a leading supplier of back office software solutions to the food service industry recently announced the deployment of its Store to Corporate HQ suite of products to the Dallas-based Star Concession, Ltd. parent of a group of companies which operate food, beverage and retail concessions in airports, in addition to providing airline hospitality club management.

“InSTORE Daily Cash Sales Systems modules, are currently being implemented at our corporate office with full POS integration to all of our restaurants” said Rosemary Roberts, CFO, for Star Concessions. “We are consolidating all reporting for sales, purchasing and inventory for 60 store locations in 6 different Airports with 10 different concepts. We see how implementing InStores Back Office Software Modules will greatly reduce our paper flow to one central system for the entire enterprise encompassing Daily Cash Posting, Food & Beverage costing and Supply Chain for all of our concepts.

An affiliate of Star operates the food and beverage concessions at Dallas Love Field Airport. Concepts used at Love Field include a full service Chili's Too restaurant, a Chili's Bar & Bites (a bar version of Chili's featuring a limited selection of appetizers), Antlers Bar (a proprietary rustic-themed bar), one Seattle's Best Coffee cart, two food courts featuring deli sandwiches, Hot Dog Construction Co. (a franchised concept featuring gourmet hot dogs and baked potatoes), and Pizza Hut Express, and a Dreyer's Ice Cream shop featuring soft-serve ice cream, frozen yogurt, smoothies and shakes. Star also operates a small snack bar serving sandwiches, hot dogs, pastries, and beverages in the Continental Express gate area at Love Field. Star also operates the Love Field Conference Center, a full service meeting facility. We offer complete meal catering at the Conference Center, either from our set menu, or specially designed for specific requests.

Star operates the food and beverage concessions at Corpus Christi (Texas) International Airport. The food court at Corpus Christi includes Whataburger (a franchised regional hamburger concept), and a full service Chili’s Too restaurant.

Star has had operations at Love Field, DFW International and Corpus Christi since 1995. Additionally, an affiliate of Star has been providing management services for food and bar operations at airline hospitality clubs since 1997.
