With such an emphasis on quality and attention to details, it is no surprise that the IT Manager, would undertake a serious and through search for software that would meet his expectations. He began this quest of finding the ideal back office and accounting system for Pappas Food Service in 2001. Most of the software programs he investigated at that time were incomplete and he wanted a fully integrated 32-bit Windows based system. Enter InSTORE; The search was over.

The first criteria was to find a back office And accounting system that were seamlessly integrated with a consistent graphical user interface. InStore's similar screen design (to Microsoft Accounting) reduces the amount of training time required of new employees,” says the IT Manager. “Ordering & Receiving is handled at the store level and then transferred to corporate. The goal, and we are close, is to use the InSTORE system at both store and corporate level.” He goes on to say, “The Daily Cash Report is extremely powerful and flexible, allowing us to link data from all of our POS systems to the general ledger.”

InSTORE Systems has been very receptive to our suggestions about adjustments and improvements to their software. They are eager to satisfy,” he concludes.
